London-based Suhair Khan is a technologist and entrepreneur. Her work and writing is at the intersection of technology, culture and design.
Over eleven years at Google, Khan has been a lead at Google Arts & Culture and multiple other groundbreaking early-stage Google initiatives. Her most recent focus was on the environmental impact of the fashion industry with Google’s 2021 launch of Global Fibre Impact Explorer.
Khan founded Open/Ended Design in 2020 to platform interdisciplinary design . She is also a visiting lecturer at the Architectural Association in London and the Masters in Architecture program at Central Saint Martins.
Khan sits on various juries and committees in culture and designs, including for the 2021 Museum of the Year prize, the London Design Biennale and Dezeen awards. She is Chair of the Board of Trustees for Studio Wayne McGregor.
