Douglas K. Woods

Douglas Woods has extensive experience in the manufacturing technology sector, currently serving as President of AMT - The Association For Manufacturing Technology since May 2009. Prior to this role, Douglas held the position of President at Parlec, Inc. from June 2006 to May 2009. Douglas also served as CEO of Liberty Precision Industries from 1990 to 2006. Earlier in the career, Douglas was the Director of European Operations at Cross and Trecker, Automation Assembly Division from 1986 to 1990 and held the position of Director of Quality at Alliance Automation Systems from 1984 to 1986. Douglas began the professional journey as a Manufacturing Engineer at Alliance Tool Corporation from 1982 to 1984 and holds a BS with dual degrees in Finance and Statistics from Syracuse University, earned between 1978 and 1982.
