Miranda Henderson

Director of Advocacy & Legislative Affairs at The Association of Former Students

Miranda joined The Association of Former Students in Jan. 2021 as the Director of Advocacy and Legislative Affairs. In this role, she oversees the Texas A&M Advocacy Network, working in coordination with Texas A&M University to harness the power of the Aggie Network to advocate for Texas A&M and higher education with key decision-makers. She also engages and maintains relationships with former student elected officials and legislative staff members. Prior to joining The Association, Miranda worked for a U.S. Representative for nearly a decade as the Director of Constituent Services. A native of Monahans, Texas, and a first-generation college graduate, she received a Bachelor of Arts in political science and communication from Texas A&M University in 2009 and a Master of Public Service and Administration (MPA) from the Bush School of Government at Texas A&M University in 2011. Miranda and her husband, Kevin ’02, are the proud parents of two future Aggies.
