Gina Gabrielle Cavallaro

Gina Gabrielle Cavallaro is an experienced writer and editor with a diverse background in communications and public engagement. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Writer for the Association of the United States Army since March 2017, Gina previously held roles including Public Affairs Writer and Editor at the Millennium Challenge Corporation and Senior Writer/Deputy News Editor at Sightline Media Group, where extensive coverage of the Army and Marine Corps was emphasized. Additional experience includes freelance writing in Zambia, press secretary for a U.S. Congressman, and various positions in radio broadcasting, all while contributing to journalism education and community engagement. Gina continues to advance education at Northern Virginia Community College.
