Greg Patrick CPP, CTM has an extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Greg is currently serving as the Director of Investigations | Americas at PINKERTON | Comprehensive Risk Management since February 2023. In this role, Greg manages a corporate investigations team and an executive threat management program. Greg is responsible for conducting sensitive and complex investigations related to life safety, asset protection, and misconduct. Additionally, they identify physical threats, conducts threat assessment and management, and implements resolution strategies to address workplace assault, harassment, stalking, and acts of violence. Greg also detects, evaluates, and implements security measures to mitigate potentially adverse incidents and provides recommendations for mitigation.
Prior to their current role, Greg worked as a Senior Corporate Investigator at PINKERTON from February 2021 until February 2023.
Greg also holds the position of Vice President at the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals starting from January 2023.
Before joining PINKERTON, Greg gained valuable experience at the City of Redmond where they held multiple roles. Greg served as a Detective Corporal-Criminal Investigations Division from July 2019 to February 2021. Before that, they were a Detective-Complex Investigations Division from May 2009 to July 2019. In these positions, Greg showcased their expertise in threat management, critical incident response, crisis management, and conflict resolution.
Their career in law enforcement began at the City of Aberdeen, WA, where they served as a Police Officer/Detective from November 1992 to November 1996.
Alongside their professional career, Greg had also served as a 1st Lieutenant in the United States Army Reserve from 1990 to 1999.
Greg Patrick CPP, CTM attended Auburn University from 1988 to 1991, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration. Greg also completed the Investigation of Computer and Electronic Crimes Program at the National Computer Forensics Institute (NCFI). In terms of certifications, Greg Patrick obtained the Certified Protection Professional (CPP) designation from ASIS International in November 2016. Greg also obtained the Certified Threat Manager (CTM) certification from the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals in September 2018. Additionally, they hold the Certified Physical Analyst certification from Cellebrite, which was obtained in December 2019. Greg Patrick also attained the Force Science Analyst certification from the Force Science Institute in May 2013, and the Professional Certified Investigator designation from ASIS International in December 2018.
