Jeffrey Owens CSP, CTM, CVP is a highly accomplished professional in the speaking and threat assessment fields. Currently serving as a Certified Speaking Professional at the National Speakers Association and an Inductee of the Virtual Speakers Hall of Fame and Hawaii Speakers Hall of Fame, Jeffrey has been recognized for excellence in public speaking. Additionally, Jeffrey holds the prestigious title of Certified Threat Manager from the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals, being among the inaugural group of less than 20 worldwide to achieve this designation. As the President and Principal Consultant of Transcend Inc., a training and consulting firm, Jeffrey has provided services to clients at various levels. Previous roles include General Manager of the Pacific Region for G4S Secure Solutions, expert consultant for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and a Metropolitan Police Major with over 29 years of experience in the Honolulu Police Department. Jeffrey's education includes studies at Hawaii Pacific University.

Association of Threat Assessment Professionals
The Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (ATAP) was founded in 1992 as a non-profit organization comprised of law enforcement, prosecutors, mental health professionals, corporate security experts, probation and parole personnel and others involved in the area of threat and violence risk assessment. The purpose of ATAP is to afford its members a professional and educational environment to exchange ideas and strategies to address such issues as stalking, threats, and homeland security. The primary focus of this organization is to provide the necessary knowledge, tools, and support to better prepare our membership to handle these types of situations. Our commitment is to expertly address these issues through seminars and training and networking with other professionals working in this field.
