James Dunningham is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and business strategy across various sectors. Currently, James serves as the Director at If We Ran The Zoo and has been the Proprietor of The Athenaeum since January 2006. Previous roles include Mountain Leader at YourMountainLeader.com and Client Strategy Director at Kenyons. James has also held key positions such as Operations Director at Wellbeing Enterprises CIC and Health@Work, and Account Director at Kenyon Fraser. With a strong background in marketing management and business consultancy, James co-founded Fresh Consultants Ltd. James holds a degree from Liverpool John Moores University.

‘An oasis welcoming those individuals and organisations playing an active and influential role in the social, cultural and business development of the Liverpool City Region since 1797.’ Founded over 220 years ago by the movers and shakers of the time, The Athenaeum has been a centre of Influence within the city since its inception. Today the Club is home to a membership comprising of women and men from a wide range of backgrounds who enjoy the benefits that Membership of The Athenaeum has to offer.
