John Blain is an experienced professional with a diverse background in leadership and strategic development, currently serving as a Volunteer Responder for the Royal Voluntary Service and Managing Director for Everton Fan Media. Blain has held significant positions including Proprietor and General Manager at The Athenaeum, and Patron of Health Through Sport, a charity focused on rehabilitating ex-offenders and addicts. Blain's notable roles in business transformation and development include experience at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, CSC, and Sopra Steria, where management of large teams and successful multi-million deals were achieved. Additionally, Blain has also been involved in the Everton Football Club Shareholders’ Association, serving as Chair and currently as Vice Chair, and has provided independent advisory services since 2013. Educational credentials include studies at the Sports Business Institute Barcelona, Hult Ashridge, and the University of Bradford School of Management.
