William P. Mann

William Mann is an accomplished trombone musician and educator with extensive experience in various prestigious organizations. Since June 2022, William Mann has served as Principal Trombone for The Atlanta Opera and has held the position of Second Trombone for the Atlanta Ballet since October 2021. In academia, William Mann has been an Associate Professor of Trombone at Georgia State University since August 2013, following a tenure as Assistant Professor of Trombone at Morehead State University from August 2009 to May 2013. William Mann holds a Doctorate of Musical Arts (DMA) and a Master of Music (MM) in Trombone Performance from The University of Texas at Austin, in addition to a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Baylor University.
