Peg Tyre is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in education, journalism, and philanthropy. Currently serving as Vice President of Strategy, Communications, and Network Engagement at The EGF Accelerator since August 2011, Tyre plays a pivotal role in managing New York's leading incubator for education-related nonprofits. Concurrently, Tyre holds the position of Director of Strategy at FutureEd within Georgetown University and serves as a Senior Fellow in philanthropy. As a strategic advisor, Tyre provides insights to foundations and philanthropists in both the US and Canada. A freelance journalist and editorial consultant since 2008, Tyre contributes to prominent publications such as The New York Times and Forbes and was previously a columnist for the Washington Post. Tyre is also the author of notable books, including "The Good School" and the New York Times best-seller "The Trouble With Boys." Educational qualifications include a BA from Brown University and a Spencer Fellowship at Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism.
