Tanya Nielson

Managing Director Clinical Research Division at The Aurum Institute

Tanya Nielson has extensive work experience in the healthcare and research field. Tanya started their career in 2005 as a Research Pharmacist at The Aurum Institute and later took on roles such as Pharmacy Manager and Operations Manager & Pharmacist. In 2012, they became a Project Manager, overseeing various studies within the Clinical Trials Unit. From 2014 to 2016, Tanya served as the Head of Department for CTU Projects, where they managed multiple research projects, provided guidance on recruitment and quality issues, and contributed to the development of future research direction. In 2016, they transitioned to the role of Operations Director and eventually became the Managing Director of the Clinical Research Division in 2018. Tanya also worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Vanderbilt University Medical Center starting in 2020.

Tanya Nielsen completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from North-West University/Noordwes-Universiteit in 2001. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the same university, which they completed in 2003.
