Monica Zimmer Williams

Monica Zimmer Williams, CPA has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Monica Zimmer began their career in 1993 as a Financial Accountant at Zimmer. From there, they went on to work at Southwestern Bell Technology Resources as an Assistant Manager of Finance. Monica then founded and served as the Treasurer of Crosswind Playground Inc. Subsequently, they joined Zimmer again, this time as an Accounting Manager, overseeing the accounting activities of the Dental Business Unit. Monica continued to advance in their career and joined Pedernales Electric Cooperative as the Controller, where they worked closely with the CFO and executive leadership team. Monica Zimmer later moved on to Newgistics, where they served as the Assistant Controller. Most recently, Monica held the position of Director of Financial Operations and was then promoted to Chief Financial Officer at the Austin Board of REALTORS. Throughout their career, Monica has gained extensive experience in finance and accounting, displaying their expertise and leadership in various organizations.

Monica Zimmer Williams, CPA, pursued their education in the field of Accounting and Finance. Monica Zimmer obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree from The University of Akron, attending from 1980 to 1983. Before attending The University of Akron, they briefly attended The Ohio State University in 1979 but did not complete a degree or field of study there.

In addition to their educational background, Monica Zimmer Williams has also acquired various certifications throughout their career. In January 1989, they obtained their CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification from AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants). This certification signifies their expertise in the field of accounting. Furthermore, in June 2018, they obtained the SHRM SCP (Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional) certification from SHRM, demonstrating their competency in human resource management. Most recently, in February 2019, they completed the Microsoft Teams Essential Training program offered by LinkedIn, further enhancing their skills in utilizing this collaboration tool.
