Kathleen O'Sullivan

Kathleen O'Sullivan serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Company Secretary at The Australia Institute since February 2018, where responsibilities include overseeing influential public policy research on various economic, social, transparency, and environmental issues. Prior to this role, Kathleen was the Director of Governance and Secretary to Council at the University of Canberra from April 2013 to February 2018, leading the Corporate Governance team in governance, policy, legal, risk management, internal audit, and insurance services. Kathleen's earlier experience includes serving as Director at the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Communications from 2009 to March 2013. Educational qualifications include a Graduate degree from the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Master of Management in Leadership from The Australian National University, a Fellow designation from CPA Australia, and a Bachelor of Business in Accounting from the University of Technology Sydney.
