Monique Vella

Monique Vella currently serves as the Director of Public Affairs at The Australian Ballet, a position held since January 2023. Vella has also been a Director at Oltra Creative since January 2018. Prior roles include Senior Program Manager and Program Manager for the Container Deposit Scheme at the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning from November 2020 to January 2023, and Government Liaison Lead and Policy Lead at Sustainability Victoria from June 2020 to November 2020. Previous experience includes being a Senior Advisor at the Environment Protection Authority Victoria, a Senior Consultant at GHD, and a Sustainability Manager at Biomix Compost. Vella's educational background includes a Master of Laws in Environmental Law and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, both from the University of Melbourne.
