Alisdair Daws has extensive experience in the field of information technology, particularly within the educational sector. Since February 2006, Daws has held multiple prominent positions at the Australian Council for Educational Research, including Chief Information Officer, Chief Software Engineer, and Software Development Manager. Prior to this, Daws worked as a Software Engineer at the same organization from June 2003 to June 2006. Earlier experience includes a role as a Lecturer at RMIT University from January 2002 to December 2003. Daws earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and a Bachelor of Science (Hons) from the University of Melbourne, as well as a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) and a Graduate Diploma in Internet & Web Computing from RMIT University.
