Dr. Sarah Coll has had a diverse work experience. Dr Sarah has served as an Orthopaedic Surgeon at SMS Cairns since 2005 and held various roles at different organizations including Council Member at Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, Director at Australian Medical Association (QLD), and Vice President at The Australian Federation of Medical Women (AFMW). Additionally, they have been involved in academic roles as an Adjunct Lecturer at James Cook University and has represented specialists in various capacities.
Dr. Sarah Coll completed their Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at The University of Western Australia from 1988 to 1994. Dr Sarah then pursued Orthopaedic Surgery, earning the FAOA degree from the Australian Orthopaedic Association between 2001 and 2004. In 2016, they obtained a degree in Advanced Leadership from the Australian School of Applied Management. Dr. Coll also attended Methodist Ladies' College for their primary and secondary education in 1975 and 1977-1987, respectively. Additionally, they received certifications from the Australian Institute of Company Directors and WorkCover Queensland in 2017.
