Kelly Steffens

Program Support Coordinator at The Autism Community in Action

Kelly Steffens has extensive experience in supporting families affected by autism, serving as the Program Support Coordinator and NC TACA coordinator at The Autism Community in Action (TACA) since October 2016. In this role, Kelly organizes monthly coffee talks for parents and manages the NC TACA Facebook page while also overseeing fundraising efforts. Prior to this, from November 2002 to February 2018, Kelly acted as an Autism Advocate and stay-at-home mom, utilizing nutrition and biomedical interventions to support children with autism, sensory processing disorder, and food allergies. Kelly's professional background includes roles as Sales & Service Manager at SunTrust Bank and Branch Manager at Commercial Credit (Citi Financial). Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from SUNY Geneseo.
