Heather Beck

Heather Beck, PhD, currently serves as the Head of School at The Awty International School as of July 2023. Previous experience includes membership in Abundance360 from 2022 to 2024, and serving as Director of Academic Programs at the American School in London from August 2022 to June 2023. Heather held the position of Deputy Head of School at the Canadian International School in Singapore from July 2018 to June 2022, leading a diverse international community and overseeing academic programs and accreditation processes. Prior roles include Superintendent of Lake Oswego School District 7J from July 2014 to June 2018, Chief Academic Officer of Jefferson County Schools from July 2011 to June 2014, and several leadership positions within Jeffco Public Schools in Colorado from 1993 to 2011. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Denver, a Master's in Special Education from the University of Northern Colorado, and a Bachelor's in International Affairs from the University of Colorado Boulder.
