Stephanie Alvarez is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in various accounting and leadership roles. Currently serving as the Controller at The Awty International School since June 2019, Stephanie previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Covenant House Texas from December 2017 to June 2019. Stephanie's career includes roles as Accounting Controller at Reasoning Mind, Inc. (2015 - December 2017) and Shareholder and Certified Public Accountant at Andrew G. Shebay & Co. (2008 - 2015). Early career experience includes positions as Product Cost Financial Analyst at Compaq Computer Corporation (1995 - 1998) and Audit Senior at Arthur Andersen & Co. (1992 - 1995). Stephanie earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance from Texas A&M University (1988 - 1992) after completing high school at The Kinkaid School (1981 - 1988).
