The Baker Center for Children and Families
Robert Franks serves as the President and CEO of The Baker Center for Children and Families, a Harvard Medical School affiliate focused on children's mental health, since July 2014. In addition, Robert chairs the Committee on Evidence-based Practice in Psychology at the American Psychological Association and serves as a Senior Lecturer at Harvard Medical School. Previously, Robert held the position of Vice President & Director at the Child Health and Development Institute of Connecticut, where initiatives aimed to enhance behavioral healthcare for children. As the Principal of Franks Consulting Services, expertise was provided in organizational change and executive coaching. Robert has also directed significant programs at the Duke University National Center for Child Traumatic Stress and Yale University's Child Study Center. Robert holds a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Boston College and has completed executive education at Harvard Business School.
