Ryan also held positions as Partner and Senior Advisor at The Capital Group from 2005 until October 2024, focusing on risk management and investments within a prominent financial services firm in the Washington, D.C. area. Earlier career experience includes a role as a Producer at New York Life from 2005 to 2013. Ryan is an alumnus of Penn State University, graduating between 1998 and 2002.
