James Joyner

James Joyner is an experienced content editor at The Baltimore Sun since December 2012, focusing on community coverage and supervising reporters while managing relationships with local newspapers. Previously, Joyner held editorial positions at The Baltimore Sun Media Group from 2010 to 2012, overseeing the Towson Times and Carroll Eagle, and spent 16 years at Patuxent Publishing, where editorial roles included launching new publications and managing multiple newspapers. Additionally, Joyner served as a part-time journalism instructor at the University of Maryland Baltimore County in 2002 and was an editor at The Free Press from 1985 to 1994. Joyner holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism with a minor in English from the University of Maryland.
