Robert Yu Serrell

Robert Yu Serrell is the current Executive Director and President at The Barrow Group. Prior to this, they served as the Marketing Manager at Berkshire Country Day School, where they were responsible for creating print and digital marketing campaigns. Robert then went on to be the Visiting Master Teaching Artist at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, where they taught Linklater voice work and vowel tree to advanced students. Finally, they served as the Director of Education and Marketing at The Barrow Group, where they were responsible for a wide range of tasks including course admissions, programing diversification, teacher contracting, marketing, and student showcases. Under their leadership, the company saw a dramatic increase in annual tuition, growing from $185,000 to $1.15 million.

Robert Yu Serrell has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Pace University - Lubin School of Business, an MFA from Brandeis University, and a BA from Vanderbilt University. Robert also has a professional certificate in acting from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
