Marianna Kastberg-Leonard

Marianna Kastberg-Leonard is an experienced professional currently serving as an Operations Intern and Operations Specialist at The Basement since March 2023, while pursuing a Master of Science in Communication at Purdue University. Previously, Marianna held the position of Communications Committee Member at AMA Indy and worked as a Health Educator at Anthem, Inc. From August 2019 to August 2021, Marianna contributed as a Nutritionist at the Marion County Health Department. Early career roles include food and beverage positions at Bruno’s Pizza and Big O’s Sports Room, Wood Wind Golf Course, and Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex, where skills in customer service, communication, and teamwork were developed. Marianna's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Purdue University, with research experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Purdue and an Internship at the University of Georgia Experiment Station.
