Ben Schaffer

Ben Schaffer is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business support, project management, and product management within the finance industry. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Business Support at The Baupost Group since October 2015, Ben has played a key role in delivering strategic products and solutions to support critical business and IT initiatives. Prior to this, roles at Fidelity Investments included Director of Trading Product Management, where Ben oversaw the multi-year rewrite of a portfolio order management system, and Principal Business Systems Analyst, managing significant software development initiatives. Additional experience includes positions at Deutsche Bank, Symphony Services, and IBM Global Services, demonstrating a strong background in financial technology and project leadership.
