Chris Philpot

Chris Philpot currently serves as a Portfolio Accounting Associate at The Baupost Group since March 2022, having previously gained extensive experience in finance and portfolio management at Keid Capital as a Personal Portfolio manager. Chris has demonstrated a strong ability to manage family portfolios and outperform market averages while also enhancing skills through independent research. Prior experience includes roles at Brown Brothers Harriman as a Senior Fund Accountant, where significant responsibilities included leading fund liquidations and collaborating with auditors, and other positions that showcased problem-solving and multi-tasking capabilities in high-pressure environments. Chris holds a High School Diploma from Malden Catholic High School and graduated from Providence College in 2017. Additionally, Chris is a CFA Level 1 candidate and a member of the Boston Securities Traders Association.
