John Choi

John Choi is a highly experienced spine surgeon currently practicing at Spine Ortho Clinic Pty Ltd in both the Melbourne and Mornington offices since January 2013. In addition to clinical practice, John Choi holds several leadership roles, including Director at ISASS and the Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery, and Fellowship Officer at AO Spine. John Choi serves as the Community Chair for the Society of Lateral Access Surgery and reviews articles for the Neurospine journal while being a member of the Editorial Board for the Asian Spine Journal. Consulting for NuVasive since November 2015, John Choi focuses on education, innovation, and product design in spinal surgery. John Choi's educational background includes a Fellowship in Orthopaedic Surgery from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Otago.
