Mary Caneer

Mary Caneer's work experience includes serving as the VP, Treasurer & Controller at The Beach Company since 2023, being a Member of the Board of Directors at Global Village Project since 2021, and working as the Interim CFO at The Promise Homes Company from 2021 to 2022. Previously, they held the role of Chief Accounting Officer and Controller at Portman Holdings from 2018 to 2021 and was the Vice President - RE Fund Administration at State Street Alternative Investment Solutions from 2014 to 2017. Mary also worked as VP, Corporate Controller & Treasurer at Cousins Properties Incorporated from 2006 to 2014 and held roles at Developers Diversified Realty, JDN Realty Corporation, and Ernst & Young.

Mary Caneer earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Wake Forest University, where they studied from 1993 to 1997. Mary further pursued their education at Wake Forest University, obtaining a Master of Science in Accountancy in 1998.
