Safiyyah Aziz

Safiyyah Aziz is a seasoned regulatory accountant with extensive experience at The Beacon Insurance Company Ltd. since 2009, where responsibilities include supervising an accounting team, preparing executive management reports, assisting with board papers, and ensuring compliance with regulatory submissions. Safiyyah also oversees financial statement preparation in accordance with IFRS standards, manages tax calculations, and monitors statutory requirements for both Trinidad and overseas operations. Previously, Safiyyah served as an Accounts Clerk at British American Insurance Company Ltd. from 2005 to 2009 and holds a PASS degree in Accounting and Finance from ACCA.
