Jen Thomas

Jen Thomas has a diverse work experience that spans multiple creative roles and educational institutions. In 2011, they became a Partner and Creative Director at The Beauty Shop, a boutique creative agency in Portland, Oregon. Jen worked on brand strategies, design, and development for various campaigns. In 2016, Jen became an Executive Director and Co-Founder at Visible Studio, a non-profit creative agency dedicated to providing equitable access to professional creative services. Jen served marginalized communities and non-profits through pro-bono work until May 2021. Prior to these roles, Jen worked as an Adjunct Professor at Mount Hood Community College from 2008 to 2014, teaching graphic design in the Integrated Media program. Jen also served as an Instructor at Pacific Northwest College of Art from 2007 to 2011 and co-founded Study Partner in 2007.

Jen Thomas earned their Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the California College of the Arts, completing their education from 1999 to 2003.
