Nezar Maroof

Nezar Maroof possesses extensive experience in leadership and innovation within the technology and finance sectors. Currently serving as a Board Member at Bahrain FinTech Bay since September 2023, Nezar has also held the position of Assistant General Manager for Marketing & Innovation at The BENEFIT Company since October 2017. Previous board memberships include SINNAD and the Bahrain Tender Board. Nezar's career in governmental roles includes serving as Director of Strategy, BPR, Innovation & PMO at the Information & eGovernment Authority and various directorial positions in information technology at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs. Nezar holds a Master of Science in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from The George Washington University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from King Saud University.
