Kate Humes

Kate Humes has extensive experience in media and public relations, currently serving as a Media and Public Relations Advisor at The Benevolent Society since July 2013. Prior to this role, Kate held various positions at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre from October 2010 to July 2013, including Marketing Communications Manager and Marketing Communications Officer. Earlier experience includes multiple roles at the Environment Agency from September 2006 to August 2010, such as Communications Officer for Flood and Coastal Risk Management and Senior Internal Communications Officer. Kate holds a BA Hons in English Literature and History from The University of Salford, obtained between 2002 and 2005, and completed A Levels in English Literature and Language, Theatre Studies, and General Studies at Sir John Deane's Sixth Form College from 1998 to 2000.
