Service Support Coordinator at The Benevolent Society

Samuel Drew has extensive experience in social support and youth services, currently serving as a Service Support Coordinator and previously in various roles such as Team Leader and Child Development Specialist at The Benevolent Society since April 2018, focusing on the Intensive Family Support program. Prior positions include Caseworker and Team Leader at Australian Red Cross from February 2012 to April 2018, where responsibilities included managing client caseloads and overseeing youth homelessness programs. Samuel also contributed as a Youth Worker for the Department of Communities QLD between June 2005 and June 2012, providing care and counselling for young people in detention. A brief tenure as a Rehabilitation Consultant at CRS Australia in late 2011 involved delivering disability management services. Samuel is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work at Queensland University of Technology, following a dual Bachelor’s degree in Human Services and Criminology from Griffith University.
