Kathleen Comerford

Second Grade Lead Teacher at THE BERKELEY CARROLL SCHOOL

Kathleen Comerford has a diverse range of work experience in the education field. Kathleen began their career as an After School Teacher at The School at Columbia University in 2008. Kathleen then became an Associate Teacher at The Academy Charter School in 2009, where they worked with kindergarten and first-grade students. In 2011, Kathleen joined Hollingworth Preschool as a Teacher. Kathleen then became an Associate Teacher at The School at Columbia University in 2012, where they remained until 2015. Kathleen then worked as a 1st Grade Team Leader at Public Preparatory Network from 2014 to 2015. Currently, Kathleen is serving as a Second Grade Lead Teacher at Berkeley Carroll School starting from 2016. Kathleen also pursued a MA in Curriculum and Teaching at Teachers College, Columbia University from 2009 to 2012.

Kathleen Comerford earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in American/United States Studies/Civilization from Barnard College in 2009. Later, they completed their Master of Arts (MA) degree in Curriculum and Teaching from Teachers College, Columbia University in 2012.
