Dr. Philip Maitzen

Dr. Philip Maitzen has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Dr. Philip worked as the Chief Performance Officer (CPO) and Director of Corporate Development at The Berner Group starting in 2021. Before that, they held the position of Director of Corporate Development and Project Manager to the Managing Director at C. & E. Fein GmbH from 2016 to 2021. In 2019, Dr. Maitzen was the Interim Managing Director at Fein Elektroværktøj Danmark A/S, where they played a vital role in improving the subsidiary's performance. Dr. Philip also has experience as a Lecturer in Service Management at Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Umwelt Nürtingen-Geislingen, Head of Business Development at AS-Motor, Senior Consultant at Prof. Bruhn & Partner AG, Research Assistant at Lehrstuhl für Dienstleistungsmanagement, Universität Hohenheim, and Consultant at Mieschke Hofmann und Partner Gesellschaft für Management- und IT-Beratung mbH. Dr. Philip Maitzen completed their education in a chronological order. Dr. Philip obtained their Doktor (Ph.D.) degree in Wirtschaftswissenschaften from the University of Hohenheim, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Management, Marketing, and Business Administration at the same university from 2009 to 2011. In the earlier years, they attended Nürtingen-Geislingen University (HfWU) from 2005 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Automotive Business. Additionally, Dr. Maitzen completed a short-term program at Udayana University in 2006, focusing on Business Administration.

Dr. Maitzen also holds a certification in Business Model Innovation, which they obtained from RWTH Aachen University in August 2018.
