Mike Ward

Mike Ward is a seasoned professional in the wine and spirits industry, currently serving as the Director of Learning and Development at Breakthru Beverage Missouri since 2018. As a co-owner of Ward on Wine since October 2014, Mike focuses on wine education and consulting for brand marketing. In addition, Mike contributes as an on-air radio contributor for The Big 550 KTRS, featuring a wine and spirits educational segment on the Heidi Glaus show. Since September 2017, Mike has also been a guest lecturer at the University of Missouri-Columbia for the course "Wines of the World." Previously, Mike held positions as a State Wine Educator for Major Brands and General Manager at Remy's Kitchen & Wine Bar. Mike holds certifications as a Certified Wine Educator, Certified Specialist of Spirits, and Wine and Spirits from the Society of Wine Educators and has an educational background from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
