Verity Flecknell

Verity Flecknell is an experienced finance professional and entrepreneur with a background in feminist arts and activism. Currently serving as a Purchase Ledger Assistant at The Big Issue since June 2023, Verity has held various roles including Finance Assistant at The Big Issue Foundation and Office Manager at Target Ovarian Cancer. As a business owner of E17 Garden Care since November 2018, Verity has demonstrated entrepreneurial skills while previously founding Storm in a Teacup Collective and contributing as Event Listings Editor for Feminist Times. Verity’s editorial contributions include work with Rough Trade Records and experience in the music industry through an internship at XL Recordings. Academic qualifications include a BA in Commercial Music with a focus on Music Sociology from the University of Westminster and an International Baccalaureate from Frankfurt International School.
