Jessica Lantz

Jessica Lantz is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Assistant Commissioner for Strategic Communications at The Big West Conference since August 2021. In this role, Jessica leads the communications team to develop and implement comprehensive strategic plans for the league's 19 sports, emphasizing innovative practices and technologies. Previously, Jessica held the position of Director of Strategic Communications for the California Collegiate Athletic Association from September 2017 to August 2021, where efforts focused on enhancing conference-wide communications and digital media strategies. Jessica’s background includes key roles at the University of San Francisco, including Director of Content & Digital Strategy and Director of Social Media, as well as various positions in sports information and communications across multiple organizations. Jessica holds a Master’s Degree in Collegiate Athletics from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Oklahoma State University.
