Mark Shaw has a diverse range of work experience, starting in 2003 as a Creative Developer at Birmingham City University. Mark then worked as a Web Producer at Incisive Media from 2005 to 2008, where they specialized in designing, building, and maintaining websites, as well as working on projects such as HTML emails and Flash application production.
From 2008 to 2009, Mark was a Web Editor at BBC Worldwide before transitioning to a role as a Webmaster at The Argentina Independent from 2010 to 2011. Mark then worked as a Digital Developer at BBC Worldwide from 2011 to 2012.
In 2013, Mark joined The British Museum as a Web Developer and held this role until 2016. During their time at the museum, they contributed to web development projects.
Mark's most recent position is as a Senior Software Engineer at BBC, starting in 2016 and continuing to the present. Currently, they hold the position of Technical Lead at Bike Club, starting in 2022.
