Zoe Balmforth

Zoe Balmforth is an accomplished environmental leader with extensive experience in biodiversity and sustainable development. Currently serving as Co-Founder and Co-CEO at Pivotal Future and Special Advisor at The Biodiversity Consultancy Ltd, Zoe has played pivotal roles in advocating for environmental policies in global political affairs through the British Diplomatic Service at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. Previous positions include Senior Technical Specialist at Fauna & Flora International, where Zoe managed corporate environmental projects, and leadership roles at various organizations focused on ecological impact assessments and policy advisory. Zoe holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Biological Sciences from the University of Oxford and a Doctor of Philosophy in Behavioural Ecology from the University of Sussex.
