Piers Scholfield

Piers Scholfield is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in news production and management. Currently serving as Director at Blakeney since September 2022, Scholfield previously worked as Assistant Editor at Sky News from January 2021 to September 2022, where a daily climate show was launched, focusing on the climate crisis. Prior to that, Scholfield was a Senior Producer at NBC News, contributing to climate coverage and playing a role in the launch of NBC Sky World News. Scholfield's tenure at BBC News spanned nearly 17 years, holding various positions such as Africa Producer, Senior Foreign News Producer, and Senior Europe Producer. Scholfield began the career as a Washington Producer and holds a BA (Double Hons) in French and Spanish from The University of Manchester.
