Joan Vieyra Galí has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. In 2015, they worked as an intern at Universitat de Barcelona. From 2016 to 2018, they were a researcher at AIS Channel and also served as an assistant university professor at Academia ASES. In 2018, they joined BluSense Diagnostics ApS as an engineering intern, eventually becoming an R&D engineer until 2020. They co-founded Sterr in 2019 and worked there until 2020. In 2020, they served as an engineer for development and research at Onalabs Inno-Hub. Currently, they are the Chief Technology Officer at Loop Dx since October 2020 and recently joined The Blue Box Biomedical Solutions as a Tech Lead in December 2021.
Joan Vieyra Galí completed a Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Universitat de Barcelona, which they pursued from 2013 to 2017. Later, they obtained a Master's degree in Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Biomedical Engineering from the same university, graduating between 2017 and 2019.

The Blue Box Biomedical Solutions
Designed after a dog's olfactory system, The Blue Box is a medical device for low-cost, pain-free, radiation-free breast cancer testing from the smell of urine. The test can be easily operated by a nurse practitioner at any pharmacy/walk-in clinic, such as CVS’s Minute Clinics. It currently detects advanced breast cancer with an accuracyof 95% and early-stage breast cancer with an accuracy of around 65%.
