Mike Guild has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Mike started their career as an Office Manager and Account Manager at LC Staffing Service, where they managed a team of employees and expanded the client list. Mike then worked at Target as part of the HR Development team, where they played a role in rewriting training materials for store managers. After that, they joined Dynamic Information Systems as an Account Manager.

At Best Buy, Mike held multiple positions, including Senior Manager for the Electronics Trade-In Program, Senior Merchant for Geek Squad Computing and Tablet Services, Manager for Geek Squad Strategic Partnerships, and Sr. Demand Planning Analyst. Mike demonstrated expertise in demand planning, forecasting, vendor management, and new service development.

Mike also served on the Board of Directors for the American Diabetes Association, where they supported fundraising campaigns and secured corporate support for local events. Mike later became the Board Chair from 2012 to 2014.

In 2012, Mike transitioned to Belkin as a Sr. National Account Manager, working with Fortune 100 Retailers in North America to drive sales and customer relationships. Mike then co-founded OpenGates in 2016. Shortly after, they became the Vice President of Sales at The Bluebird Group.

In 2014, Mike joined Nokomis East Neighborhood Association as a Vice Chair of the Board of Directors, representing the Keewaydin Neighborhood.

Mike Guild has a diverse education history that spans various years and institutions. Mike first attended North Andover High School in 1989 for their high school education, after which they transferred to Eden Prairie High School in 1990 for their final year of high school. Following their high school education, Mike pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from St. Olaf College, where they studied from 1992 to 1996. After completing their undergraduate studies, they furthered their education by enrolling in the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management. At this institution, Mike pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree specializing in Strategic Marketing. Mike attended the Carlson School of Management from 2004 to 2007, completing their MBA.
