David Bench

David Bench is a seasoned Maintenance Reliability Specialist, currently with The BMI Group since October 2025, focusing on the transition from Domtar to Penstock Power. With a strong background in electrical and instrumentation maintenance, project management, and long-term capital planning honed during a tenure at Domtar from May 2008 to October 2025, David has also led teams at Terrace Bay Pulp Inc. and managed maintenance operations at Canada Malting. Prior to these roles, David garnered experience in energy management and maintenance engineering at Neenah Paper and Kimberly-Clark, where expertise included optimizing mill power systems and managing major projects. Educational qualifications include a Business Leadership degree from Lakehead University and an Electronics Engineering Technologist diploma from Georgian College.
