Sukhinder Singh Cassidy

Sukhinder Singh Cassidy has had an extensive and diverse work experience. Sukhinder is currently the CEO of Xero, a position they assumed in November 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Venture Partner/Venture Advisor at Acrew Capital starting in January 2021. Sukhinder also served as a Board Member-Lead Independent at Upstart from March 2020 onwards.

Sukhinder Singh Cassidy has a strong background in board memberships and founder roles. Sukhinder was the Founder & Chairman of theBoardlist, a curated talent marketplace for diverse leaders in boardrooms, which they established in July 2015. Sukhinder continues to hold this position.

In addition, they served as a Board Member-Lead Independent at Canada Drives from October 2020 to October 2022. Sukhinder Singh Cassidy was also a Member of the Board of Directors at Urban Outfitters from August 2017 to July 2022.

Previously, they held the role of President at StubHub from May 2018 to June 2020. Sukhinder Singh Cassidy was a Member of the Board of Directors at TripAdvisor from February 2012 to June 2018 and at Ericsson from March 2015 to March 2018.

Before that, they founded and chaired Joyus, Inc., a pioneering video shopping network, from January 2011 to September 2017, serving as the CEO until February 2017. Joyus was eventually acquired by StackCommerce.

Sukhinder Singh Cassidy completed their education at the Ivey Business School at Western University from 1988 to 1992. Sukhinder obtained a degree in Business Administration with a specialization in that field of study.
