Brett Provance

Brett Provance is a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at The Boring Company, focusing on the development of the next generation of Liner Truck for Prufrock mining operations since February 2024. Previously, Brett served as a Senior Software Engineer/Technical Lead at Walmart Global Tech, where contributions included the launch of Walmart InHome and spearheading the development of advanced wearable cameras. With earlier roles at IBM as a Staff Firmware Engineer and experience in research positions at the University of Houston and Providence College, Brett has cultivated expertise in embedded systems and cryptographic firmware. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology, along with Bachelor's degrees in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University and Engineering-Physics-Systems from Providence College.
