Pamela Leins is currently the Executive Director at the Boston Education Fund. Prior to this, they worked as the Interim Deputy Commissioner for the City of Boston from August 2015 to July 2021. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the Development & Strategic Initiatives, Programming Operations, and Data & Marketing teams for Boston Centers for Youth & Families (BCYF).
Before their time with the City of Boston, Pamela worked as the Senior Education Manager for Junior Achievement of Northern New England from July 2012 to August 2015. In this role, they helped the organization to continue to deliver quality, pre-existing programs in the Boston, Lynn, Lawrence and Lowell-area inner-city schools and after-school sites, while increasing the number of programs delivered to middle and high school students in the region.

Pamela A. Leins has a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Leadership from Northeastern University. Pamela also has a degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from UMass Boston and a College/University Preparatory and Advanced High School/Secondary Diploma Program from Boston Latin School. Pamela is also certified in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education.
