Melissa Brown has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Melissa started their career in 2002 as a Math Assistant at The Laureate Private School, where they provided a positive learning environment for 7th and 8th-grade students. In 2004, they joined the Boys & Girls Clubs of San Dieguito as the Youth Arts Academy Director, developing an arts program and supervising music instructors. From 2004 to 2012, Melissa worked as the Director of Special Events at an organization, overseeing various fundraising events and managing a large staff. In 2012, they joined the Boys & Girls Clubs of North County as the Director of Resource Development, managing major events and handling marketing efforts through social media and other channels.
