James Palmen is an accomplished design professional with extensive experience in creative marketing and product design. Currently serving as the Director of Design at The Bradford Exchange since July 2016, James transitioned from a focus on creative promotion to the product side, collaborating closely with dynamic product designers and internal business groups. Prior to this role, James was the Design Group Manager at The Hamilton Collections, where responsibilities included managing and designing responsive promotions for the collectible division. James also owned JDP Designs 2, specializing in advertising and brand marketing, and held the position of Creative Director at Reader's Digest Association, leading a team focused on direct mail promotions. With earlier roles as an art director at Gander Mountain and Referee Magazine, along with a strong educational background in Graphic Communications from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, James has cultivated a robust career in design and marketing.
