Amanda Tobias

Principal & Director of Education at The Bradley Center

Amanda Tobias has been with The Bradley Center since 2017 when she was hired as a Special Education Teacher. Ms. Tobias became a Leader Teacher in 2018 and continued her advancement as Assistant Principal in 2019. She has over 10 years of experience in various educational environments with a variety of populations including alternative education and autistic support. Throughout her career, she has worked with students with behavioral needs in grades 1-12. Amanda earned her Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education English from Slippery Rock University in 2009. She received her Masters's in Special Education from Slippery Rock University in 2010 and obtained her level II teaching certificate in 2015. Ms. Tobias earned her Principal certification at Point Park University in 2019.

As The Bradley School’s Principal and Director of Education, Ms. Tobias manages the school and oversees special education, student services, curriculum, and provides supervision to teachers. She ensures that the school is in compliance with the regulations set forth by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. Ms. Tobias works alongside her leadership team to maintain a positive climate and culture within the school program by focusing on student-centered education and promoting prosocial behavior.
